Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Transition Journal mobile app operated by Pink Pixel LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. It describes how information is handled when you use the app. It is specific to Transition Journal and is not a substitute for the Pink Pixel LLC website Privacy Policy.

At a glance

Health data stays on your device: doses, regimens, journal entries, photos, and lab records.
No accounts. No cloud sync. No advertising. No health-data analytics.
You choose if and when to export or share a backup.
Delete everything in Settings, or by uninstalling the app.
Apple handles Premium billing. RevenueCat only sees subscription status, not journal content.

Who operates the app

Transition Journal is published by Pink Pixel LLC. For privacy questions, contact hello@pinkpixel.tech.

Transition Journal is a private, offline-first diary for hormone replacement therapy recordkeeping. It does not provide medical advice, clinical interpretation, dose guidance, or emergency help.

Health data stays on your device

Transition Journal does not create accounts and does not upload your health or journal content to Pink Pixel LLC servers. Records you enter are stored locally in the app sandbox on your device, including:

Hormone regimens, dose logs, and reminder schedules you enter
Daily journal entries and feelings you choose to write
Photos you take or pick for a transition diary
Blood-test notes, dates, and optional attachments such as PDFs
An optional first-dose or journey start date
App-lock preference and local notification settings

Photos and attachments remain on the device. Camera, photo library, and Face ID access are requested only when you choose those features. Face ID and other biometrics are processed by the operating system on your device and are not sent to Pink Pixel LLC.

Reminders use local notifications on the device. They are not push notifications and are not delivered through a Pink Pixel LLC server. Default reminder copy is discreet. Detailed reminder text is optional and may appear on a lock screen if you enable it.

What we do not collect

Pink Pixel LLC does not collect Transition Journal health data, journal text, photos, or lab files. The app does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, crash analytics for health content, or remote logging of diary records.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your journal for profiling, marketing, or training models.

Export and sharing

You can export JSON or CSV backups from Settings. Export is user-initiated. The file leaves the app only when you choose a destination in the system share sheet, such as Files, Mail, or another app. After you share a file, that destination’s own privacy practices apply. Pink Pixel LLC does not receive the export unless you send it to us yourself.

How to delete your data

Because records live on the device, you control deletion:

In the app, open Settings and choose Delete all local data. This permanently erases regimens, doses, journal entries, photos, lab files, reminders, and settings on that device.
Uninstalling Transition Journal also deletes the local database and media stored in the app sandbox.

Exports you previously saved outside the app are not deleted by uninstalling. Delete those copies yourself. Pink Pixel LLC cannot remotely wipe a device because we do not host your journal.

Subscriptions and third parties

Optional Premium is billed by Apple through your Apple ID. Apple processes payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds under Apple’s policies. Pink Pixel LLC may receive limited subscription status needed to unlock Premium features.

Transition Journal uses RevenueCat to check whether Premium is active. RevenueCat may process anonymous app identifiers and purchase events. It does not receive dose logs, journal entries, photos, or lab files. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy and Apple’s Privacy Policy.

If you visit this page or pinkpixel.tech, standard website hosting logs may apply as described in the Pink Pixel LLC website Privacy Policy. That website processing is separate from Transition Journal’s on-device health records.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive whatever you include in that message, such as your email address, device model, and a description of the issue. Do not send photos, lab files, or journal exports unless you choose to. We use support mail only to respond and to operate the product, and we retain it only as long as needed for that purpose.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, California, or other regions with privacy laws, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information.

For Transition Journal health and journal data, those records are on your device, so access, export, and deletion are available in the app. For support emails or subscription questions, contact hello@pinkpixel.tech. Purchase history is managed through Apple.

Children's privacy

Transition Journal is intended for adults managing their own care records. It is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in a relevant jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information to us by email, contact us so we can delete it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy if Transition Journal’s practices change. The effective date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
